PARTS HOUSE COMPUTERIZED TESTER

A new operator will become a confident operator within the first few tests.  The N101-0897 uses a color monitor with “touch screen” control.  It is completely self-diagnostic including the harnesses and is equipped with our “Slide N’Lock” cradle for hands free testing.  Maintenance parts, such as the starter test solenoid and alternator “B” circuit regulator, are mounted on an access panel on the read of the tester for ease of replacement.

Alternator testing is performed using a fixed amount of applied load and confirms all internal circuitry of the alternator.  The starter test parameters are provided by the supplier and entered into the database at the factory.  A printer port is provided for connecting a printer to print out test results.  Results are printed as “GOOD” or “BAD” without any specific values that could be misinterpreted by the operator.  If the customer’s alternator or starter test result is good, the final screen also displays a list of some common associated problems that can be relayed to the customer  to aid in troubleshooting and gaining additional sales.  All data upgrades are accomplished via a Compact flash card.  The flash card is accessible via a panel on the rear of the machine.

Starter & Alternator Tester

The D201-0001-JBT is an all-in-one testing device that was designed for Parts Stores, Warehouses and Distribution Centers.  The tester provides the end user with capabilities previously available only to OEM manufacturers

  • Analysis of starter components with "inertial" load and speed sensor.  The optional sensor evaluates starter pinion engagement and timing
